Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi, also the President of 6 International Miss Tourism Pageant Titles, a pageant organiser extraordinaire. In a span of 33 years (1989-2022), he has produced and crowned more than 109 Miss Malaysia and 128 International Title Winners. The 6 International Miss Tourism Pageant Titles are Miss Tourism International (MTI), Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International (MTQTYI), Miss Tourism Metropolitan International (MTMI), Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International (MTCI), Miss Tourism Global (MTG) and Dreamgirl of The Year International (DGTYI).
In addition, he has also been organising and managing the national pageant title, known as Miss Malaysia Tourism, since 1990. He also organises and owns the Miss South East Asia Tourism Ambassadress, to promote tourism and cultural exchanges among ASEAN countries.
The numerous pageant titles of Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi provide ample avenues for making girls’ dreams come true. These events may just provide the launching pad towards a career in beauty and glamour and where otherwise the chances would be limited or hard to come by.
Many title-holders have had since gone on to become household names in show business, something which they would not have been able to achieve if they had not participated in the pageants.

Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi，也是6个国际旅游小姐选美的主席，是选美比赛的主办单位。在33年（1989年至2022年）的时间里，他创造并加冕了112名马来西亚小姐和136名国际冠军。现今，他已是掌管6项国际旅游小姐选美赛事，分别是国际旅游小姐（MTI），世界旅游小姐年度皇后（MTQTYI），国际大都会旅游小姐（MTMI），国际时尚都会旅游小姐（MTCI），全球旅游小姐（MTG）和国际年度梦幻小姐（MDTYI）。
此外，自1990年以来，他一直主办和管理全国选美大赛，即马来西亚旅游小姐 （MMTP）。同时，他也主办了东南亚旅游小姐选美比赛以及拥有东南亚旅游小姐大使的特许经营权，以促进东盟国家之间的旅游和文化交流。
